SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - ASSET MANAGEMENT - ZURICH - DATA MANAGEMENT
On the behalf of our client, a global asset management firm, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to run the business side of a data management programme in Zurich.
Although the successful hire will have few direct reports, it is important to have someone with strong project management experience as stakeholder management and engagement across senior management in multiple locations is essential. There are also an important (internal) sales/reinforcement element to the role. The successful candidate will also be expected to have extensive knowledge of Buy-Side practices.
The initial focus of this role will be organisation and communication; setting up of PMO, governance, steering committees, stakeholder engagement. The IT delivery component is not within the new hire's responsibility.
You will be responsible for:
- Establishing PMO and associated Governance
- Establishing a communications framework
- Ensuring (via PMO) the rollout of new technology
- Managing the transition of Business Operations
- Ensuring (via PMO) the decommission of Legacy technology
