Data Mining Specialist (1432)
For our client, a financial services company in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a project basedData Mining Specialist (1432)Role DescriptionTo complement the team we are looking for a Technical Consultant with a focus on Litigation who can work with both the collection management team and lawyers to uncover and organize factual information relevant for legal proceedings and investigations.The Specialist will manage and support different cases from Legal by processing structured and unstructured data, provided out of archives and operational systems, in the Litigation Infrastructure to make it available for Review and Production.Responsibilities include:
- Data Pre-Processing, eg Decryption, De-duplication, and Password Recovery
- Data Processing, eg filtering, keyword application, etc.
- Support of Review, Redaction, and Production, conducted by In-house or Outside CounselMandatory Skills
- Strong background in databases and/or document management systems
- Experience with software development languages and Scripting like: SQL, Java, C#, VBA, Python
- Strong analytical skills and ability to filter and structure factual
- information for use in legal proceedings or investigations
- Fluent in German and EnglishNice to have skills
- Knowledge of litigation support technology and/or e-discovery tool sets like: LAW, IPro, Concordance, Relativity, NUIX, Recommind, Clearwell
- Experience in litigation or internal investigative work, for instance in a compliance organization
- Work experience in the financial industry
