Project Manager - Data Center
On behalf of our client, an international pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager Data Center. This position is based in Basel, Switzerland and is a contract until the end of this year, starting ASAP with a possibility to be extended.
You will be responsible to consolidate the existing data centers in various local sites as well as infrastructure migration. You will also use converged infrastructure products. Your Project Management experience should benefit from previous Demand Management methodology. You are required to identify virtualization potential, threshold tracking related to migrations to a virtualized environment, etc.
For this challenging role you need to fulfil these requirements:
- Relevant University studies (Computer Science or Engineering)
- Strong technical understanding, especially in the area of virtualization, storage and data center management
- Must-have experience in a Pharmaceutical environment (GxP know-how)
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- Windows Server/Linux Server architectures experience
- Great communications skills
- Fluency in English- written and oral
