Senior Java Developer with Portal environmental knowledge needed to further develop existing Applications and bug fixes in coordination with the application owners in the Java environment for an investment bank in Zurich.
As a developer, you will be transferring various applications as well as taking responsibility for the team Custom Application during both development stages as well as during the delivery of the applications. All steps must be documented.

Compulsory Skills:
- Several years of development experience in Java environment (JEE 5) especially the following core technologies:
- JDBC, JNDI, EJB, JSP, Java Servlets, XML, JMS, JTA
- Weblogic Application Server and JBOSS
- Developing and Using junit, EasyMock, jsf, Prime Faces, RichFaces, EJB3, Hibernate, Ehcache, OpenJPA
- messaging over WebSphere MQ,
- Shell script (bash)
- Oracle and HSQL
- Does banking products and processes
- Experience in managing small projects ("one man" projects)
- Recording of requirements, writing business specifications and solution design
- Documentation of problems encountered and their solutions
- Fluent in English and German
Advantageous:
- Development experience in the portal: Liferay and AquaLogic User Interaction (ALUI)
- Very good Unix end levels

Soft Skills:
- Can integrate well into teams
- Willingness to pursue the problems until a solution is found.
- Desire to debug and analyze, continuous learning of fabric is used on the job (which is not always the latest technologies).
- No fear of not knowing, rather even more questions.
- Treat the application client with the highest priority - providing 2nd-/3rd-Level support.
- Desire to keep themselves well to formal processes, such as Procedures for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and staged deployment into production.
