A global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking for a German speaking Qualification Engineer to qualify new production equipment being installed as part of a CHF15m investment project.This position is based near Basel in Switzerland, working on an initial 6 month contract, there is potential for this position to continue for a total of 18 months.
The Qualification Engineer will be responsible for qualifying a new capsule dry powder capsule filling machine - part of an inhalation production line.
Key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to.
- Qualification of capsule filling and supporting equipment, including weighing, mixing and distribution systems
- Generate and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols
- Ensure that all activities are compliant with GMP and company standards
Requirements:
- Degree educated (engineering or science degree) or equivalent experience
- Fluent in German - both spoken and written
- Strong pharmaceutical engineering experience
- Experience of qualifying secondary pharmaceutical production equipment (capsule, powder, tableting, liquid, etc.)
