For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Senior Market Data IT Software Developer

Your responsibilities:

  • An interesting role as Senior software developer in Market Data IT area
  • The responsibility for the design and architectural decisions regarding implementation of market data distribution systems
  • A demanding and dynamic international environment
  • Involvement on a global level in a multi-cultural team
  • The opportunity to work with complex market data platforms
  • The possibility to participate discussions with global major market data vendors (Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, SIX Financial Information and others)

    Required Skills:

  • Degree or higher education in Information Technology
  • At least 5 year experience as Linux C++ Software Developer (high availability, load-balanced, low latency, very high throughput distributed systems)
  • At least 3 year experience with market data distribution systems and their APIs
  • At least 3 year experience SIX Financial Information market data feeds and respective APIs
  • Previous experience with working in large financial institution
  • Excellent understanding of software development and software integration in heterogeneous distributed environments
  • Fluency in English, German is an advantage
  • Drive for high quality and working with other organisational units to achieve common goals
