SAP IS Retail Consultant - Freelance
Our client, a Major Global player in the Retail industry are looking for a strong IS Retail consultant to join their team in Geneva on a freelance basis.
THE ROLE
Roll-out of the template solution to central and worldwide Group entities.
Inside the team this position focuses on a SAP rollout to Group entities (50%) and in parallel on template consolidation (20%) and ongoing enhancements (10%) and support (20%).
The Retail Solution is based on an SAP IS-Retail installation as Enterprise Resource Planning system with focus to provide a fully integrated Store Solution including 3rd party applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implementation of SAP Retail including related solutions (IS-Retail related)
- Co-ordination development and maintenance of a global SAP template together with the business functions and with different teams in SAP
- Analysis of business processes, requirements and objectives.
- Global implementation and customizing of systems, processes and functional solutions and the related SAP template in the Area of Retail
- Manage the following primary activities of SAP implementation during the Rollout Phases within the Retail Team
- Process Design/Re - Design
- Configuration/Customizing
- Testing/Test management
- Training of Key Users
- Data Migration
- Documentation
- Post Implementation Support
- Support SAP Retail module and related solutions
- 3rd level support inside central competence centre.
- Support coordinator for 3rd level support in certain periods.
- Built up and maintain support activities and skills in regional competence centres
- Areas of competencies
Hands on experience in SAP Retail, POS Interfaces, POS Solutions, Merchandise management processes inside a Boutique/Store
- Specific knowledge
Mandatory:
SAP Retail experience with Focus on;
- POS Inbound/POS Outbound
- ALE/EDI integration of 3rd party solutions like cash register software, EFT solutions, bar code scanner, inventory solutions
- Strong integration knowledge into the SAP modules Sales & Distribution, Finance
- Technical understanding of a complex SAP and non SAP solution integration over the whole supply chain
- Nice to have:
Integration knowledge of the SAP module Customer Service
Integration SAP Retail to SAP CRM/SAP PORTAL/PI/BW
- Professional experience
Substantial experience in SAP integrated projects (more than 5 years)
- Languages
English mandatory
French or other language advantageous
- Required aptitude and qualities
