For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong Portfolio and Wealth Management experience for a new 6 month contract in Zurich staring in June with a strong chance for extension.
Senior Business Analyst, Portfolio and Wealth Management, German and English, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
Scope of the role:
- Elicit and document requirements with a formal, UML based approach
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Understand, enhance and create data models
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the solution design
- Contribute to project and iteration planning
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Sound understanding of portfolio & wealth management processes (several years commercial experience)
- Strong knowledge across asset classes (Equity, FI, Derivatives) including their data requirements
- Ability to create complex data models
- Formal requirements documentation with UML (Enterprise Architect)
- Experience integrating 3rd party vendor software
- Experience with Northfield (EE, MARS) and Factset is a strong asset
- Experienced working in teams following agile project methodologies
- Excellent organizational skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to communicate and interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Fluent in English and German mandatory
