On behalf of a major Pharma client we are urgently looking for an Accounts Payable & Travel Expenses Administrator (AP/TE) for a 12 months contract in Basel.

You will support the Account Payables-team, ensuring quality in accounting processes and providing financial information and timely reporting of balances.

Main duties:

  • Provide services at expected levels with a clear customer service, escalate exceptions, support the team by being proactive, respectful and results driven according to clients Values and Behaviours
  • Interact proactively with all functional areas of the FSC to ensure appropriate accounting, financial reporting and settlement of revenue matters is accomplished
  • Manage day-to-day activities and co-ordination with the team and customers: Travel Requests processing incl. approvals & advance payment; Processing Travel & Expense claims incl. receipts processing and payment of claims; Document reception, sorting of accounting documents, scanning and validation; Timely processing of Invoices, Credit Notes and Down Payments; Timely resolution of Invoices which have a price & quantity deviations and follow-ups incl. debit balances; Oversight of Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt and timely clearing; Correspond to internal and external inquiries
  • Compliance: Ensure application of agreed control procedures and support to deliver SOX certification; support FSC living up to increase Finance excellence.

Required skills:

  • Certified Finance/Accounting specialist or similar degree
  • Few years of experience working in Finance
  • SAP knowledge is a must
  • Fluent German & English skills, very good written & spoken French are a must and selection criteria for the interview and daily work.

Project details:

  • Start: ASAP in April, approx. 12 months duration with extension option
  • Language: German (fluent), English (fluent), French (very good)
  • Work place: Basel, 100% (40 hours per week), no remote or home-work option.
