German Senior Oracle Developer in Credit Risk Wealth Management
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are actively searching for a Senior Oracle Developer with Credit Risk Wealth Management environment experience. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for a German speaking candidate who can start at the end of May 2013.
Description:
We are looking for someone to strengthen our development team in the IT Credit Risk Wealth Management area. Our applications are used to support our business in deriving the right credit decisions and monitor the credit usage in day-to-day business.
The project where we are looking for support is the credit decision tool used in Switzerland. All credit requests are being evaluated and determined using this tool. The application has been in use for more than 10 years, and the performance is no longer meeting the business requirements.
The majority of the work will be, together with the existing team, optimising the application to achieve a better performance.
Task & Responsibilities:
Together with the existing IT team, analyse the current performance issues and define a solution to improve the current solution.
Following that the proposed solution must be implemented and tested.
Deliverables:
Successful implementation of the performance improvements
Required Experience/Skills:
(Including language and soft skills)
- Deep technical skills in the areas of Oracle development incl. performance tuning
- Deep technical skills in the areas of Oracle database administration
- Broad technical skills in the areas of JEE, WebSphere, C++, Oracle.
- Experience in performance testing of large applications: Defining strategies for stress, concurrency and volume test and execution of those
- German skills (reading and speaking a must, written of advantage)
Requirements:
- 2X Software Engineer Level 3
- Start date: end of May beginning June 2013
