Proteus Europe operating as an employment agency, is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join one of our prestigious clients.Description of the mission
The role is to become part of a team responsible for developing applications for our clients Back office systems. It will be working closely with business analysts and you will be responsible for developing new components and also to ensure correct maintenance and ensure that existing components evolve along with new systems.
The technical skills that we are looking for are:
- 5-10 years of experience in Java development, especially in the field of financial applications
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle)
- Proficiency in Java (J2EE, EJB, Swing)
- Experience in large scale architectures multi-tiers
- Knowledge of Eclipse
Training / Education
- Higher education in computer science (ETH or equivalent) CIIA / CFA / MBF
- Fluency in French and good knowledge written and spoken English
- Knowledge of banking is a plus.
