The RoleWe are looking for a Senior developer to work primarily on Cube development using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). The Standard Reporting part of the BI2 application uses Cubes for each subject area which are specifically designed and optimised for the reporting requirements of that area. The business logic is complex and the developer must be familiar with working with large non-transactional data warehouses and managing complex hierarchical structures, and be able to design, develop and optimise such cubes. The person should also be experienced with performance tuning both Load time and query time of SSAS cubes.
The development team is large with part of the team based offshore. Close interaction and collaboration with team members is very important, as is a thorough understanding of dependencies between cubes and other components and technologies.
You offer
Must-haves:
- Excellent experience in Microsoft BI technologies especially in SSAS and MDX development
- Experience working with large complex cubes with hierarchical data
- Practical experience of performance tuning and optimisation
- Practical knowledge of SQL and .NET C#
- Masters degree in computer science
- Fluency in English
Nice-to-haves:
- Oracle experience
- General Banking knowledge
