Solutions Integration - Banking - ZürichTBP - Solutions Integration - Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for an experienced Technology Business Partner to design and facilitate the implementation of infrastructure to support the firm's critical applications while ensuring that the solution is according to corporate standards.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:- Utilize knowledge of industry technologies and internal standards to design infrastructure appropriate to the needs of the application
- Review performance requirements of each application
- Identify technical products which are near end-of-support and recommend upgrades proactively
- Ensure that applications utilize corporate standard products including hardware, operating system builds, middleware and database products
- Advise clients on product choice for their projects and keep them advised regarding current technical standards and future products
- Solid knowledge of technology products spanning multiple disciplines
- Linux/Solaris/Windows/ESX
- Veritas Volumemanager
- Storage NAS/SAN
- Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase
- Different Network Topologies
- Backup
- Ability to understand the interaction between various technical products and the impact to the overlying application
- Understanding of design considerations to match a solution to the availability requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly analytical thinker
