Project Manager/Business Analyst - Smartstream, TLMRole description: Our client, a leading financial institution based in Zurich Switzerland, is looking for a Project Manager/Business Analyst to deliver an efficient, high quality set of end to end IT Services across all asset classes and divisions. This team manages the pipeline of reconciliation-related change activities for TLM and IntelliMatch, as well as an in-house built intersystem solution.
Primary activities:
- Work with the team to shape and implement the target of reconciliation processes
- Develop a solid and efficient change management process, focussing on good understanding of requirements, best solution definition, prioritisation and implementation
- Translate business requirements into IT requirements
- Coordinate reconciliation analysis and implementation processes across operations and IT streams and provide regular project status updates to senior management
Skills:
- Excellent understanding of reconciliation/control processes and, ideally, knowledge of the TLM reconciliation system
- Experience in a project environment or run-the-bank within banking operations
- Sound influencing and communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Able to work effectively with staff from a diverse mix of backgrounds and cultures
- Strong understanding of banking operations processes, particularly reconciliations
- Knowledge of a project lifecycle
Knowledge required:
- Fluent German and English are a MUST
- Local (Swiss) knowledge of banking products and businesses is a MUST
- Expertise in reconciliations systems (TLM, SmartStream) is a MUST
- Experience in mapping business requirements into formal functional documents
- Experience designing/implementing Cash, Stock and Inter System reconciliations
- Ability to analyse business specifications and translate this into technical terms
