On behalf of our client, a leading global financial institution based in central Zurich, we are looking for a highly experienced Data Analyst. For this exciting contract role based in wonderful Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. You will be part of an international team with responsibilities across disciplines whose role is to support in providing data services for several front and Back Office systems. You will be involved in project work in the delivery of new systems and system enhancements.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:-
- Excellent knowledge of financial instruments and assets classes including Fixed Income, equities, corporate actions, derivatives, reference data and security identifiers.
- At least 5 years of data management experience in an large financial environment
- Knowledge of vendor data feeds, databases and products that update, maintain and deliver data.
- Experienced user of Bloomberg, MS Excel, Access, SQL for querying, analysing and reporting data
- Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently, but a strong team player.
- Ability to stay organized and demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently, accurately and on time.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent English and ideally German language skills
