My client is looking for a temporary contractor in order to tackle a data integration and vizualisation project.
Contractor will be based on site in Basel, the project will require regular interactions with US based staff. Contract will end end of December 2013.
Tasks:
- Understand data model of the DMPK database (Watson LIMS).
- Help our Datawarehouse team to import and organize data (data transfer specification, data mart design if needed).
- Implementing in Spotfire data visualizations using data from various biological domains, all correlated to DMPK data.
Skills needed:
- Fluent English
- Ability to speak to IT colleagues and biologists required.
- SQL/PL/SQL needed.
- Spotfire and Webplayer knowledge needed.
- Knowledge of standard coding tools a plus.
- Knowledge of DMPK data a plus (pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic).
- Problem-solving abilities, strong scientific curiosity and initiative is a plus.
