Swisslinx is urgently seeking a System Engineer with strong Virtual experience for one of our pharmaceutical clients based in Basel, Switzerland.
You will be part of a global team of 30 system administrators responsible for support and administer Vmware ESX server infrastructure and provide virtualization technology solutions to existing problems. You will also provide technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements as well as testing next generation technologies such as HP Flex technology and additional hypervisor.
In order to be considered for this role you should have at least 5 years experience in Windows and/or Linux System administration in a global enterprise environment. 3 years experience with Virtual environment (ESX and/or HyperV) and cloud management experience. In addition you should have 1 years experience with hybrid cloud expertise and ideally PowerShell Scripting for VMware Automation.
The working language is English.
Contract to start as soon as possible, ending 31.12.2013.
