LTE Project Rollout Manager
Our client is currently looking for an LTE Project Rollout Manager for a 3 months contract with possible extension based in Zurich, Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with an interesting global company then please have a look at the details;
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- The Rollout Manager is responsible for a defined number of sites for the complete rollout process (mainly focus on LTE upgrade based on 2G/3G swap) starting from site dedication to Partner and Site Survey until Site Acceptance and Cluster Acceptance. The Rollout Manager reports to the LTE Program Manager and will interface to and lead involved I&C Partners.
- Responsible for planning and timely completion of LTE site acceptance.
- Responsible to execute the Regional Deployment and Planning of ROLLOUT activities including site survey, site preparation, equipment implementation, site documentation, integration and acceptance.
- Ensure Quality, Environmental and H&S requirements are met during regional implementation.
- Ensure Deployment Process and Procedures are met during regional implementation.
- Technical interface with Sunrise for dedicated sites
- Site Inspections for quality assessment of partner and evaluate partner's work.
- Output daily/weekly report including progress/status/issues and partner performance evaluation for each site.
- Manage pending issues and if necessary search for support or escalation.
- Escalate issues raised from Sunrise or partner in case of activities needed
Requirements:
- At least 8 years working experience in coordinating of RAN (Radio Access Network) rollout project
- At least 3 years working experience in leading a technical team for RAN rollout project
- Basic knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/LTE equipment and related site implementation eg Feeder and Antenna installation
- Good knowledge and experience of implementation and rollout process
- Fluent oral and written German and English skills, French is an asset
- Based Zurich, Willingness to travel on a regular basis
