FINANCIAL ANALYST - PRIVATE EQUITY-GENEVAOur CLIENT
Our client is a Private Equity/Mono family Office having diversified types of businesses and categories of assets, mainly based inRussia.
In order to support and lead the management of the Swiss branch, our client is looking for a FINANCIAL ANALYST. The candidate needs to have a background in public financial market (stock, etc.), knowledge of banking or financial services environment and an exposure to investment, bond market, FX and commodities.
The ROLE
You will be in charge of the Swiss branch and you will report to the Managing Director immediately, based inMoscow. Your key duties will be:
- SPOC for the Swiss office : management of the office, contact with local authorities and with ad hoc shareholders or investors
- Developing macro economics view, strategy and actions plan for the firm related to bond market, Forex, precious metals and industrial commodities
- Strong understanding of theUSand European Financial markets, STOXX Europe 600 and 50
- Developing and supporting trading recommendation in commodities (precious metals), FX, USD-Euro pair
- Ad hoc projects and reporting according to the shareholders need
- Financial analysis and financial plan linked to the activities of the group
- Set up KPI's and developing software applications linked to the activities of the group
The CANDIDATE we are looking for
- 2-5 years experience with public financial market (like stock) as a financial analyst in trading, banking or financial services (commodity house, Forex trading, asset management, etc.)
- Master Degree in Business /Technical education + CFA (ideally)
- Good understanding (on a macro-eco point of view) of the bond market, Forex, precious metals and industrial commodities (energy, etc.)
- IT literate, Excel, financial software
- Fluent in Russian, English and French
- In possession of a EU passport or a Swiss permit/passport
- Selfstarter, organized and structured, strong analytical skills, very good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to develop one's own approach/strategy and to work on financial markets accordingly
- Having a strong view and understanding on US and European financial markets, market strategy on bond market, S&P500, STOXX EUROPE 600, STOXX Europe 50, etc.
