Edelway is a Swiss IT services company.
We are now looking for several Hybris Developers to join our team of consultant in the Geneva/Lausanne area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global prestigious leader in Switzerland at the early stages of a new implementation.
Both contract and permanent are available with excellent rates/package on offer.
THE ROLE:
*You will be involved in the design and implementation of next generation websites.
*You must demonstrate experience in each of the phases of software development including requirements, design, coding and implementation, test and maintenance.
YOU WILL:
*Lead a team of Developers in the design and coding phases of a software development project while functioning as the escalation or focal point to resolve technical obstacles to project completion
*Provide state of the art expertise in Java/J2EE Web Application Development technologies; mentoring team members as may be necessary
*Provide team leadership by assigning, monitoring and ensuring coding is addresses functional requirements and is compliant with any appropriate coding principles or standards to ensure delivery within project timeframes and budget
*Participate in meetings with staff, team members, and other project stakeholders
*Familiarity and comfort in working with offshore and remote teams a must
YOUR PROFILE:
*English speaking
*5+ years success delivering software design and development projects using Java/J2EE technologies
*1-2 years of experience as a hybris developer
*Hybris Core Developer and hybris Commerce Developer Certifications are a plus
*1-2 years of experience as a team lead on eCommerce or CMS implementations
*Strong Java background and expertise in related technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, JSTL, etc.
*Ability to efficiently working in a team based environment
*Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions
*Strong client-service orientation
*Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
