Our client, in the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking for an experienced QA Tester to support a short term project in Basel.Responsibilities:
- Carries out various methods of testing including manual, batch and automated to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end user requirements
- Tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
- Documents and works to resolve problems
- Reports progress on problem resolution to management
- May recommend improvements to current procedures
- Performs work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements
- Validate and communicate results of testing activities
- Works very closely with the development and quality teams to manage integration testing
- Work closely with Release Analysts
- Provide consultancy to project teams on testing
- Define integration testing strategy and processes
- Define processes required to setup, maintain and manage the testing environment
- Analyze test requirements
- Create / Review use cases, test script and test requirement document
- Define requirements for test environments
- Prioritize test activities within the team
- Create integration test plan
- Implement testing solutions
- Manage test execution and track defect reports
- Review releases and assign appropriate release testing tasks
- Compiles and Review the Testing Deliverables
- Conduct installation procedure tests
- Conduct functional testing
- Conduct performance testing
- Conduct integration testing
- Conduct user acceptance testing
- Conduct operational readiness testing
- Conduct back out testing
- Conduct supporting documentation review
- Compile test results
- Conduct release test review
- Conduct post release testing
