On behalf of a major Pharma client, Harvey Nash is urgently looking for an Senior IT Architect - eDRMS, Records Management for a challenging role in Basel (Switzerland) till end of 2013.
Project focus
Planning and designing an eDRMS architecture (for electronic Document and Records Management) taking into account its feasibility, quality and economic efficiency. The aim is to implement a Global Enterprise Electronic Document and Records Management System to be used by all affiliates to manage the official records that require long retention according to the defined company's eRM standards.
For this purpose, we are looking for a high qualified Solution Architect with expertise on implementing Records Management systems in regulated environments, to lead the technical stream that implements the technical solution and support the Project Lead in the preparation on project plan, resources and cost estimations.
Main Tasks:
- Lead the technical stream to deliver a technical solution that fulfil the requirements specified by the business in a cost-efficient way and aligned with the internal roadmaps
- Review and understand the requirements provided by the business to implement a eDRM system
- Research industry trends & best practices and develop recommendations of technologies and methods to stakeholders at all levels; also to evaluate and recommend technology solutions (vendor assessments, RFPprocess management, prototyping, Proof-of-Concept)
- Work collaboratively with other artectural domains, enterprise architects and operating units from the operating model/organizational model to recommend and design effective and consistent solutions
- Deliver the required technical documentation according the client's internal standards and methodology (PMM): Solution Architect Design Document, Functional Specification, Technical Specification
- Perform some of tasks associated to IT Planning Specialist role: create functional specification, assess SW, technical documentation
Special Requirements/mandatory background:
- Experience as Technical Lead for eDRMS systems design
- Experience in eDRMS projects to support Project Lead: create the project schedule and resources needed to deploy the solution
- Technologies: Records Management Solutions in regulatory environments, eDRMS systems, SharePoint, Archiving solutions
- Fluent English (written/spoken).
Project details:
- Start: February or as soon as possible
- Duration: till 31.12.2013
- no remote option, working time will be 40 hours per week and work place will be in Basel
- Language: fluent ENGLISH mandatory
