ROLE
Service Manager, 100%
ROLE PURPOSE, MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Coordinate and arranged regular meetings with DC team to share information and request Capacity
• Coordinate and arranged regularly meetings with BT to request services
• Coordinate and arranged regular meetings with IBM to ensure that IBM servers will be moved and organize and track possible issues with Application Analysts
• Track and organize decommissions of V-Block and updated in DRIS
• Manage and Coordinate move preparations
• Align stakeholders and enable them to do their work by have overview on what is going on in DC
Consolidation
• Chair the DC Alignment meeting on Wednesday’s
• Align Application Analyst according with requirements
• Escalate issues beyond authority of Basel DC Consolidation
• Deputy of Change Management
• Overall responsibility for timely delivery of changes ensuring the conformance with Novartis change management procedures
• Coordinates with service change management
• Controls timely delivery of changes
• Oversees the creation of infrastructure and application change request tickets
• Manages and monitors changes according to the existing Novartis and IBM SO delivery change
management procedures
• Coordinates with change management of the vendors
• Special support for IBM Change Management
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Fluent in English – oral and written
• German desirable
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a similar role
• Novartis experience together with a good understanding of processes/organization etc. is a true
asset
• Experience with MS Office Tools and MS SharePoint
• Team work in a challenging IT environment
• Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
• Ability to deal with variable workload
