LAN/WAN System Engineer, CISCO, DNS/DHCP, switching, VPN, Firewall, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IGRP/EIGR

Responsibilities
- Design, documentation, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance and support of the IT communication LAN/WAN environment
- Primary focus on network design, support, implementation and management, including the maintenance of DNS/DHCP, switching, routing infrastructure and the management of Cisco Works in a Cisco centric environment
- Focus on providing design and support for Firewalls and VPN infrastructure based on Checkpoint technologies
- Manage and supervise outsourced service provision, such as for voice, data and cabling services
- Physical cabling
Profile
Skills needed:
- At least five year experience providing design and support for communication LAN/WAN environments
- TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IGRP/EIGRP, STP, VRRP, HSRP, PPP, NAT, QoS, SNMP, VoIP, ACLs, switching and routing principles; Cisco Works and ACS; Packeteer; Riverbed; WAN technologies (xDSL, MPLS), ASAs, Checkpoint Firewalls
- Experience in network design, support, implementation and management, including the maintenance of DNS/DHCP, voice and telex services, switching, routing and cabling (including fiber) infrastructure and the management of Cisco Works in a Cisco-centric environment and Firewall and VPN infrastructures
- Excellent command of English both verbal and written, German highly beneficial
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or other professionally recognised certification in telecommunications
