For one of our customers in the pharmaceutical business, I am looking for a Financial Analyst.

The business unit is a new buy / sell within the Procurement organization pillar of the organization's supply chain that will enable Medical Devices Unit to more Effectively manage its external suppliers. Two-thirds of external suppliers are outside the United States, but two-thirds of the resources supporting these vendors (Planning, Strategic Relationship Manager, Supplier Quality, and Technical Operations) are based in the USA. The strategy of the new organization is to align regionally vendors and resources, Malthus providing significant operational benefits.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Business partnering with the GEO team, Global Surgery Supply Chain and Commercial Finance, Finance , Lifescan Finance, CLS (Customs & Transportation), VAT and Tax
- Managing P & L by business unit, with specific focus on large affiliate Proft (AGP) by business unit
- Balance sheet and P & L reconciliations
- Intercompany price setting (ICP) and maintenance of ICPs
- Transfer pricing interim during start up period without ERP
Without manual invoicing in interim period to ERP -
- Standard cost setting
- Reporting: Head Count, P & L, etc.
- Hedging and currency analytics
- Support cost improvement projects (CIPs), capex, and other strategic imperatives
- Master data management and ERP support
- Principal governance structure
- SOX compliance, and CIA PwC audit support

Start date: mid-February, beginning of March.

Expected Assignment end date: mid-2014
