On behalf of our client, a fast growing Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a SDH Configurations Engineer in Switzerland on contract basis.
Responsibilities:
" Daily maintenance and operation of network devices, the network devices include the global Internet backbone, SDH/DWDM backbone and Voice Switching equipment.
" International circuits' implementation, service provisioning, service delivery, troubleshooting and technical supports.
" Maintain and update Operation Plan and other operational procedures, service availability report, traffic management reports and service improvement solutions.
" Pre-sales consulting support, resolve all technical issues arising during the sales engagement, understand customer business and technical drives, actively participate in customer network planning, help clients define specifications, requirements and engineer solutions based on customer requirements.
" Stay close communication and cooperation with head office and other domestic and overseas branches.
" Some business travels are required.
Requirements:
" 3?5 years network maintenance experience and SDH network and equipment maintenance experience
" CCNP/CCNA qualified is preferred.
" IP Network configuration and monitoring experience is a must
" Very familiar with SDH, DWDM optical transmission equipment and other related IP products
" University graduate holder on Telecommunications or relevant areas
" Fluent English is required, German is a plus
