Senior WPF Developer
We have an immediate need for a Senior WPF Developer Consultant with strong Back End development in SQL Server database environment within our reinsurance client based in Zurich.
The ideal candidate will have very good communication skills, be able to interface with the business on a consistent basis and be able to translate business requirements into robust scalable solutions that are user friendly. The candidate must have full life cycle development experience in an Agile environment as well as excellent skills in designing and architecting robust solutions.
ROLE:
- Work as senior developer for Reinsurance Pricing Application.
- Work closely with Development Lead to review functional business requirement and come up with technical requirements.
- Work closely with Test Engineer and assist in developing unit tests as part Test Driven development.
- Work on analysis, estimation and design for enhancements during the development cycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years development experience with design and development of multi-tier/distributed architecture solutions.
- Experience with WPF development a must.
- Experience with PRISM framework is preferred.
- Past experience developing with C# Winforms a plus.
- Strong familiarity with Service Oriented Architectures and Software Development Lifecycle.
- Strong Back End development skills in a MS SQL Server database environment.
- Experience that includes modelling, designing, coding, unit testing, integration and regression testing, debugging and deployment.
- Experience with Test Driven development.
- Experience with Agile Development.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative and positive attitude.
