Our giant Pharma client is looking for IT Architect on long term contract role.
Project Description:
- Planning and designing architectures (hardware, software, information systems, communication networks), taking into account economic efficiency, quality and feasibility.
Main Tasks:
- Analyzing the corporate strategy and developing the IT strategy.
- Watching the hardware and software market.
- Developing and maintaining the IT Strategy and -architecture (hardware, software, communication) according to the corporate strategy and economy.
- Documenting the technological descriptions overviews
- Creating and maintaining the application concept for hardware and software
- Representing the IT strategy and architectures
- Creating and asserting quality standards in terms of strategy and architectures
- Conducting audits and design reviews
- Providing expertise and consultancy services to IT projects helping to ensure that new solutions properly fit into the overall architecture
- Communicating the IT strategy and architectures
Other Skills Required:
- The GPRS Solution Architect is responsible for the architecture of our Global Product Registration System and a key contributor to develop this system to a state where it fulfills the current business needs and is well prepared to meet future demands.
The main responsibilities are:
- Working in a multinational team of employees
- Oversee the technical solution
- Document the as-is architecture
- Develop the future-state architecture
- Develop a roadmap for the system
- Support the ongoing projects and design solutions on the existing platform
- Providing advice to Project Managers and Technical Leads
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years experience with proven track record of designing software solutions and applying good practices of Solution Architecture
- 3+ years of experience working in multinational and virtual teams
- Delivery experience - programs/projects and/or services, preferably in a regulated environment
- Relevant business knowledge, especially of business processes, and knowledge of a regulated GxP industry required
- Knowledge of information and system landscape in Regulatory Affairs, and knowledge of process how to develop and maintain system landscapes are a plus
- Fluent English skills and ability to travel as required up to 25% of the time
- Flexibility to work outside normal working hours, to support global implementation across different time zones
