TRIPS PROJECT MANAGER (PM) for Geneva

Task Description:

Plan and manage the TRIPS project, which replaces and enhances current travel management capabilities

Follow standard project management processes, ensure that the development reflects the user's sensible requirements. Advise client units on the impact of their requirements and provide alternatives where necessary.

Ensure that project is delivered on budget and on time. Ensure that IT architectural concerns, operational requirements and life cycle requirements of all major projects are identified and addressed.Conduct feasibility studies when required to assess project viability. Assess commercial or other existing applications as alternatives to new development and conduct gap analyses. Ensure all such requests are included in the IT projects portfolio.

PM will report to the IS Applications Manager and will work closely with other project stakeholders as required

Knowledge/Skills Required:

Good understanding of processes related to IT support, operations and software development.Knowledge of project management and documentation standards.Knowledge of IT systems involving Microsoft technologies.Excellent communication and documentation skills, liking to work with people.Strong analytical skills, ability to abstract and represent graphically.Ability to work effectively with technicians in different roles and work as part of a team.

Fluently spoken and written English, good knowledge of French

Contracting role, the minimum duration is 3 months with possibility of extension.
