Job Description
Onsite hardware upgrades of Base stations and Transmission infrastructure for Mobile Broadband traffic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and check transmission paths and upgrades: patching, end-to-end connectivity testing
Hardware upgrade on site (card changes, card insertions)
Connectivity between equipments (Tellabs BTS)
Software upgrade on site (download of config files, re-commissioning of site, in cooperation with the RAN and IP specialists)
Tests and checks (in coordination with the RAN and IP specialists)
Logistics (handling of dismantled or faulty parts)
Profile Required
Mandatory Requirements:
- climbing possibilities
Experience in Mobile sectors:
- Nokia 2G commissioning/troubleshooting
- Ericsson 3G commissioning/troubleshooting
- Antenna feeder line measurement
- NEC Microwave
- Nokia Microwave
Other requirements:
Equipped with a car (driving to sites)
Equipped with a mobile phone
Equipped with a basic set of tools (screwdrivers)
Equipped with adequate clothes and shoes (outdoor works)
