My global leading client is seeking a German / French speaking Nettapp Storage Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Zurich with the opportunity of further expansion. The Storage engineer will is part of a team responsible for administration, supporting, maintaining and provisioning storage in a NAS/SAN environment. This individual must have the technical abilities to deploy, configure, troubleshoot and problem-solve independently, but also be able to work as part of a larger team to accomplish the common goals of the team. The candidate will primarily focus on NetApp storage and Brocade switch administration and configuration.Requirements:
- Previous experience, with NetApp is prefered (FC, NFS, CIFS, snapmirror, snapvault, SMO, WFA, dedupe and other related filer skills) including working with ONTAP 7.X and 8.x
- Knowledge of SAN fabrics, Brocade experience
- Understanding the end to end connection from host to storage (HBA connections from host to storage)
- Knowledge of VMWare (vsphere 5 using NFS)
- Knowledge of Linux and Solaris is a plus
- Experience working with IBM Blade Centers is a plus
- German /and or French fluency
