For the European Data Center Facitilies of a global FMCG client, we are looking for an experienced:
European Data Center Facilities Coordinator
Reporting to the European Facilities Lead, the successful candidate will:
- Project manage, and ensure service delivery for, European Data Center Facilities technical and functional projects
- Organise Data Center Infrastructure maintenance in European Data Centers
- Follow-up compliance and audit items related to Data Center Facilities
- Follow the Service Management processes for controlled implementation of changes in the Data Center
- Provide Data Center Facilities Support across European Data Centers in accordance with Service Level Objectives
- Manage co-location Data Center hosting services
- Act as Data Center Facilities Incident and Request Coordinator
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Fluent English, French & German
- Strong Project Management (PMI Certification preferred)
- Good knowedge of ITIL processes (ITIL Certifications an advantage)
- Experience of Facilities Management in large international environments
- Good knowledge of Telecoms (physical layout), Cooling, Power, DRP.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
This is a contract position with an international client for one year in the first instance. The client is located minutes from Lake Geneva, on the Swiss Riviera and close to Lausanne. Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
