On behalf of our client, one of the most recognizable banking brands worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and motivated Test Engineer with experience developing in Java for a 6 month contract with a strong chance of extension.
The start date for this role would be 1st February 2013.
Test Engineer, Java/JEE, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
In this challenging new role, your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:
- Conduct performance, scalability and stability assurance, across a diverse range of applications
- Responsibility for analysing the dynamic behaviour of systems under load
- Identify and resolve root causes of performance, scalability or stability issues
In order to be considered for this new contract, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Solid experience in a testing domain (ideally in a banking environment)
- Multiple years of software development experience in Java (JEE) is mandatory
- Good understanding of C nice to have
- Experience in performance analysis of complex IT systems, covering technologies such as Unix/Linux, Oracle, JEE (any container)
- Previous experience using load generation tools (LoadRunner, Grinder, JMeter, etc) beneficial
- Fluency in English is essential and a good understanding of German is advantageous
