ESX VM Ware Supporter/Administrator - English, 4-6 months, Basel.
On behalf of our client, an internationally successful pharma/biotech client located in Basel, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a VMware ESX Supporter/Administrator to join our client's virtualisation team.
In this 4-6-months contract, you will be responsible for the support and administration of the VMware ESX virtualisation layer. Therefore your tasks will include monitoring the availability of the systems, resolving problems, creating standard installations and configurations, but also installing and maintaining related components and creating documents such as operating manuals and user guides.
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for an initiative, communicative and analytical individual who is self-driven and who offers the following qualifications:
- Min. 2 years of experience in a supporting role
- Initial experience of supporting/administrating VMware ESX or ESXi
- Pharma experience is a plus
- Fluent English skills (written/spoken); German is an asset
