On behalf of our client, an internationally successful pharma/biotech client located in Basel, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a Solutions Architect to deliver solutions related to Documentum based applications within their Document Management and Archiving Services department.Are you looking for a challenging role as Solution Architect and technical lead? In this contract as Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical subject matter expertise and leadership in the area of Document management and Archiving Services (DMS) within the GxP compliance shared services environment of our client.
Being the primary technical resource within the DMS area, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of supporting and improving the application landscape and its underlying infrastructure whilst ensuring GxP compliance and meeting SLAs. This also includes close interaction with the internal IT department, 3rd party vendors and business partners in order to avoid shortcomings in performance. Additionally you will also act as the technical lead when it comes to new developments, upgrades, etc.
Apart from your daily business, you will also collaborate in projects by providing component, data and interface architecture for each application.
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for an initiative, communicative and analytical individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the following qualifications:
- University Degree
- 8+ years of experience with the Documentum Product Suite, incl. application administration
- Experience in implementation of and adherence to best practices such as ITIL, COBIT, IT Security, Data Privacy
- Experience in a GxP based Shared Services unit
- 5+ years experience of Java/J2EE and Oracle databases (incl. PL/SQL)
- 5+ years experience with Scanning & Archiving
- Strong understanding of AIX/Unix and MS Windows environment; Solid Scripting knowledge
- Strong ability to handle complex technical issues
- Fluent English skills (written/spoken)
