Our client in the finance Industry seeks a Business Analyst to contribute to the delivery of the strategic objectives to assist in a strategic change programme, delivering major business change over a multiyear timeframe.
Core accountabilities
Undertaking a range of business analysis roles in the function, the specific responsibilities will vary, according to role, the project:
Business Analysis:
- Provide conceptual solutions to often complicated business problems.
- Contribute to the development of the documentation of Business Operating Models, Business Requirements, Organisational Designs and Solution/Functional Designs
- Assist business areas in understand their problems and subsequent requirements and solutions.
- Supporting/managing the implementation of the required solutions
- Making recommendations to improve procedures and working practices,
- Work with Senior Management and executives to facilitate the sign off/agreement of solutions and recommendations via presentations and one to one workshops.
Project Management:
The role will require contribution to the identification and impact assessment of programme and project issues and risks.
Third Party Management:
The role holder will be expected to build and maintain relationships with external suppliers/contractors/consultants as required in order to progress Business Analysis assignments.
Role requirements
- Experience in delivery of high-quality analysis through managing teams and developing capability within those teams.
- Comfortable employing a broad and diverse range of business analysis best practices, disciplines, methodologies
- Exposure to governance, control and risk management will be advantageous
- Proven ability to effectively work across teams at all levels.
- Ideally, experienced in Wealth Solutions Regulated Background/Financial Industry
- Business analysis techniques should include the application of industry-standard methodologies, techniques, complex modelling, scenario planning and use of software.
- A strong understanding of business process re-engineering, input into organisational design, operating models.
- The role holder will be able to demonstrate innovative problem solving - ability to challenge the status quo and drive beneficial change.
- Appropriate professional accreditation eg Prince II, APM would also be preferred.
- English is essential,command of French is preferred.
