Senior Business Analyst - Agile, Microsoft, application architecture, web fronts
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Parallel Consulting is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join a global E-commerce company in Central London. You will have extensive experience in business process design, from project initiation to the finalisation of new system processes. The objective of the project which you will be a part of will be to design, implement & produce a new system landscape for location management.
You will establish mutual trust & work closely on a day to day basis with business representatives, other business analyst, developers & testers, to ensure feasibility & execution.
Responsibilities:
* You will implement your understanding of strategy, technology & business to translate business requirements to tangible business standards.
* You will document implications & issues, qualifying financial impacts of different scenarios, developing astute & innovative solutions.
* You will describe business processes & put forward suggestions for new & alternative processes, support & lead workshops, challenging business units on their input & expectations.
* You will draft user stories, specifications, data structures & business rules according to Agile methodology.
* You will design user interfaces & functionality.
* You will support the business in preparing user acceptance tests, following up on test execution & issues.
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in IT or Business Administration.
* At last 3 years of commercial experience in a Business Analyst role, in an Agile environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong understanding of business processes & application design, along with requirements gathering.
* Strong understanding of the concept of application architecture, operations systems, web fronts & interfaces.
* Ability to address problems & solutions quickly & concisely in a consensus driven environment.
* Flexibility in day-to-day work & effective work planning are crucial
The ideal candidate will be an individual with demonstrable knowledge of business design methodology, with a proven track record of executing business process analysis projects. You must be able to provide examples of your experiences. Rate is negotiable and dependent on technical skills and project experience.
