“DIAMOND" the Basel Data Center Consolidation Program is a category A IT infrastructure project running in Basel/Switzerland.
It offers an interesting and challenging job opportunity for an experienced Data Modeler/Analyst .
The project aims at consolidating the eleven existing data centers in Basel.

ROLE
DIAMOND Programmer Analyst - Data Modeler - Level III, 100%
ROLE PURPOSE, MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide accurate data for the entire portfolio of DIAMOND in DRIS
• Own Data on DRIS
• Align with METRON team
• Provide Wall-to-Wall inventory of DCs
• Collaborate with and support Application Owners and Quality Managers in the business function to ensure accurate data in CLARITY and SNC
• Supports the DIAMOND Governance team with insights into the "Data Center Program Asset Management & Planning Database" data model.
• Data Load from different source using SQLLOADER
• Support DRIS Web application
• Create, maintain and update data queries and reports out of DRIS
• Data extraction from DRIS "Warehouse"
• View definitions for unified data retrieval
• Service Now access for DRIS user management
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Fluent in English – oral and written
• German desirable
• Several years of experience as an IT Data Modeler/Analyst, preferably in a similar role
• Knowledge of the Novartis infrastructure
• Novartis experience together with a good understanding of processes/organization etc. is a true asset
• Experience with MS Office Tools, SQL, Oracle, Web Applications and MS SharePoint
• Team work in a challenging IT environment
• Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
• Ability to deal with variable workload
