For our customer – located in Zurich – we are looking for an experiencedCentral SAP Migration Project Manager
for a long term contract of 12++ months.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Familiar with SAP implementation projects; experience in the deployment/localization of SAP Core solutions preferred
• Experienced in migration activities: definition of migration strategy, definition of migration concepts, specification of migration tools, management of migration testing, migration planning and execution
• Experienced with migration tools (e.g. LSMW)
• Experienced in the management of activities across several countries
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of all activities related to migration (strategy, concept, tools, migration testing, status reporting, migration execution)
• Good technical skills (SAP ABAP, LSMW)
• SAP FI/CO skills preferred
• Strong written and spoken English
General:
• The central migration manager coordinates all migration activities within the SAP Convergence Project:
• This requires very good management, communication and organization skills – combined with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage all migration activities and deliverables for all Roll-In projects. This especially includes:
• Alignment of overall migration strategy (update of migration strategy document)
• Localization of migration concept for all Roll-Ins (the migration concept includes all objects to be migrated, the migration/ transformation tools, extraction tools etc., it shall also include the data cleansing requirements)
• Coordinate the update of Core migration tools
• Coordinate the system requirements related to migration (e.g. migration test clients)
• Define migration plans (including resource planning)
• Coordinate migration preparation (migration testing, data cleansing)
• Manage migration execution (together with local responsible) and status reporting
