For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Developer Support Specialist.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide developer and technical support and resolve customer cases for cloud products, solutions and APIs, including debugging AppEngine and applications, authoring documentation and code samples, and handling system configuration
  • You will provide technical assistance and developer support as part of a global 24x7 support organization
  • Identify and document AppEngine and Storage bugs and feature requests and work with engineers and customers to implement effective solutions
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers and sales engineers to improve cloud products at a senior level, suggesting and making changes to the product code

Required Skills:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
  • Strong network administration and troubleshooting skills with good understanding of Linux system administration
  • At least 1 year of industry experience in system administration, software development, systems integration or systems engineering
  • Outstanding account management, follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with cloud storage solutions, SQL database administration, and/or distributed computing technology
  • Strong working ability with common programming/Scripting languages (one or more of Java, C, C++, Python, Shell Scripting, JavaScript)
