Project Controller

€450 per day (€540 Swiss Francs)
6 month contract
Intapeople has an immediate contract for an experienced Project Controller/Assistant to support to the project leader in carrying out projects and sub-projects for a large Blue chip organisation in Basel.
The required candidate will be responsible for resource management, project controlling and dealing with the information of all involved parties, Additionally you will be required to control costs, due dates and risks and in case of deviation informing the project leader/sub-project leader.
Other duties include submitting proposals to correct deviations updating and controlling the continuous planning for the project leader, coordinating dependencies and interfaces and controlling the progress of sub-projects.
Demonstrable change and configuration management experience would be advantageous as would the ability to
perform communication, information and documentation tasks.
Skills required:
- Procurement and/or contract management
- Understanding of the business models and pricing strategies
- Experience in managing suppliers
- Good analytical and numeric skills
- Self-motivated, initiative and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in evaluation of commercial proposals from IT vendors
- Experience in contract drafting and negotiation
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) mandatory. Other languages are an advantage.
