Support Specialist (Security)

Job Description
Position will be a member of Global Access Operations Divestiture Support team. Responsible for the execution of Access Operations requirements for all divestiture activity related to the project. Includes all network components of provisioning, including (but not limited to), AD group creation, AD group membership changes, data group ownership changes, shared drive provisioning, associate urgent terminations, and home space provisioning. Associate will be responsible for running access reports for the Line of Business, maintaining the team mailbox and providing weekly metrics to management. Associate will work closely with Global Access Operations Divestiture Support peers, Security Consulting, Security Point of Contact, Active Directory, Server, Citrix and the Line of Business teams to coordinate the execution of requests.

Key Activities include:

  • Provide security support for user access to windows platforms.
  • Work on requests and problems of moderate and complex scope, where analysis of data requires evaluation of identified factors.
  • Liaise with business, Change Control and peer Access Operations associates to document and communicate policies and procedures for the support team.
  • Aid in conversion of associates and systems.

Required Skills

  • Strong PC skills on the MS Office suite of applications.
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and address problems in order to resolve issues whenever possible in way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization.
  • A broad knowledge of information security principles (eg access control) is a must. Security tools awareness is however not a must.
  • Strong organization, time management and project management skills. Ability to handle several requests, tasks, and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight. Motivated and willing to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Should have awareness and exposure to basic technical principles, concepts and techniques of data security.

Desired Skills

  • A familiarity with access tools, request processing and AD environments is strongly recommended.
  • Access administration knowledge in Windows, with an emphasis on security and access controls.
  • Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical business owners
  • Previous authorship of technical procedures
  • Compliance/Risk/Audit background

Language Skills

  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English is a must
  • Since the support will be provided mostly for French speaking clients, good command of French is also mandatory.
  • German is nice to have but not must.
