Our client, a well known multinational based in the Lake Geneva region of Switzerland, is currently seeking:
Business Analytics Specialist - SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Developer
The role of the BOBI Developer is to design, test, document and handover the implementation of various BO reporting solutions to the BO support organisation.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and optimize BW BEx Queries for SAP BusinessObjects consumption
- Create universes on relational and OLAP data source using Universe Design Tool and Information Design Tool
- Comply with best practises for Semantic layer design
- Work on developing reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence, and Xcelsius and Analysis for Office and Analysis for OLAP
- Develop Webi reports for Mobile use
- Resolve performance issues related to MDX limitation by troubleshooting and investing in the BW system
- Implement security for reporting solutions
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in BO Content Development - Universes, Webi, Dashboard
- Expertise in BW Front End Content Development - BEx queries, web templates
- Experience with BO security model, access level and rights
- Connectivity with SAP BW
- Familiarity with SAP BO Mobile application
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Java SDK development for platform extensions
- Understanding of the architecture of Clustered SBOP Enterprise XI 3.x/4.0 platforms
- Integration with SAP to include SAP SSO, SNC
- Life Cycle Manager
- Connectivity - DB client installations to support MSAS, SQL Server, Oracle, Essbase
Require Knowledge
- Required language is English
- Candidates are expected to have at least 5 years SAP BW development experience.
- Candidates are expected to have at least 3 years BO development experience in a large scale clustered BO environment preferably with connectivity with SAP BW and Microsoft SQL Server/Analysis Services.
