C#.NET Software Engineer
Our large multinational end-client based in Geneva is urgently looking for an experienced C#.NET Developer to join them for a 6 month contract.

THE ROLE
The C#/.NET Engineer will be accountable for stabilizing our client's Back End application based on SharePoint 2010 and ASP.NET. He will work closely with the lead developer to define the areas to focus on first.
YOU WILL
*Audit the code quality and design to come back with areas that should be improved
*Re-layered the projects to remove non required dependencies
*Provide a solution to abstract the database access
*Provide a coherent testing framework
*VS 2010 Testing Framework
*Mocking
*Dependency Injection
*Provide guidelines for a more generic application
*Provide guidelines to improve the application stability (logging; auditing )
*Documentation deliverables: Unit Testing Guidelines, Application Design, Development Guidelines
YOU NEED
*Proven C# and .NET 3.5/4.0 development experience
*Deep experience in application design
*Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design Development
*3 to 6 years' experience with ASP.NET Development
*Ability to work independently and as a team member
*Provide high quality code (Exception management, Unit Testing)
*Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, ability to assess problems and produce practical solutions
*Capability to learn new technologies and deliver iterative results quickly
Will be considered as a plus:
*Use to work in a Team Foundation System environment
*JQuery and JQuery UI development experience
*AJAX; Silverlight; WCF Services; Web technologies; JavaScript; CSS and HTML
*Development experience with SharePoint 2007 and 2010
*Some experience RDBMS (T-SQL)
*Exposure to Big Data
