Scientific Assistant/Pharma/Sample Manager/Lab/Chemistry/ITIL
On behalf of our client, a major player in the pharmaceutical industry based in Basel, we are seeking a junior Sample Manager for a contract till the end of 2013.
In this position you will work in bioanalytical department and will provide support to the sample logistic operations. To your tasks belong sample shipments, sample reception and archiving as well as general supporting the sample management team. You will work in a cross-functional position and will cooperate with scientists, clinical team leaders and study directors, but also with third parties such as local Health Authorities.
To be successful, you bring the following to the role:
- 2 years of experience in scientific/pharmaceutical environment on similar position
- You should be familiar with GLP environment
- Degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy and experience in a biology lab
- ITIL certification is a big plus
- Excellent organization skills
- Experience with Watson LIMS is an advantage
- Great communication skills in English
- Dynamic personality
