Our customer is currently looking for a SAP OTC/SD Lead consultant, Greater Zurich Area, 12 months to start as soon as possible.

As the SAP OTC/SD Lead Consultant you will define, drive, and deliver standard processes, data and systems solutions for the End to End Planning Hub.

This role is a core business delivery role driving business change around a Global SAP instance and helping us achieve our goal of implementing in Q2 2013 in the Order to Cash Process area.

It requires a high level of hands on knowledge of all aspects of SD from a process, configuration and project execution perspective. It is also responsible for ensuring integration to other ECC modules (MM, FI, etc.).

The primary activities include but are not limited to supervising and leading the following activities:

  • Own delivery of the hub specific end-to-end process/sub-processes on behalf of the Hub in collaboration with the Global Process Owner
  • As Lead Consultant you will own delivery of the SAP solution within but not limited to system configuration, developments, security roles, interfaces, data and reporting.
  • Specify and owns delivery of specific master data elements
  • Enable and sustains business change
  • Ensure approved business requirements and specific functional capabilities are met by the SAP solution and are fit for purpose and support efficient processes
  • Plan and coordinates resourcing to support all system test activities (SIT, UAT, Regression)
  • Champion standardization
  • Support the definition of business processes in regard to most effective use of SAP ECC to drive efficient Order-To-Cash processes
  • Provides expert guidance, support and recommendations regarding greater leverage of the SAP product set to leverage greater business benefit for the company
  • Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions while promoting industry best practices
  • Support the implementation of compliant transaction flow business policies within the agreed guidelines as set out
  • Support development of supporting training materials working with the OTC business team to ensure that the customer service team are appropriately trained on the business process and respective SAP transactions
  • Supporting the successful delivery of the project within agreed time and budget
  • Coach, mentor and motivate project team members, contractors and Customer Service team to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

Skills Required:

  • Extensive SAP configuration experience
  • Full project life cycle implementations including lead role experience
  • Demonstrated breadth of knowledge and solution delivery experience across the end-to-end process acquired through multiple leadership roles in global SAP implementations 
  • Knowledge of external and internal best practices relevant to aligned process area
  • Business and Commercial Credibility
  • Strong analytical capacity including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to present complex analysis in understandable forms to business stakeholders
