Manning Global is currently looking f or a Wireless Technical Support Engineers to work on contract basis for one of our clients, a leading international Telecommunications Company in Switzerland.
Based in Zurich, the role will be responsible for the products and the after-sales technical support in the field of wireless networking in Switzerland. You will support the customers in all technical aspects and improve the relationship to the main service provider accounts.
Responsibilities
- Level 1/Level 2 technical support service to customers independently or jointly with a technical support team as well as RNC/NodeB installation supervision, hardware and software commissioning
- Project implementation and technical supervision of subcontractors or service partners.
- trainings for customers, subcontractors or service partners.
- Pre-sales support for testing, bidding or holding workshops.
- RNC/Node B integration and data negotiation, planning and integration
- Wireless products software upgrades, hardware expansion or other related changes
Qualifications
- Very good knowledge in the field of wireless networks including GSM/CDMA/UMTS.
- At least 3 years after-sales technical service experience with the incumbents in Europe.
- Ability to implement and supervise installation, commission and testing independently (including survey and acceptance).
- Strong troubleshooting skills (FLM/SLM).
- Fluency in English and German.
