Windows Engineering/Support Specialist
Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for a Windows Engineering/Support Specialist to help support the infrastructure of IT operations. The focus of the role is to provide support to the existing team in terms of the Windows server and Active Directory systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing Windowsserver environment )
- Windows sys admin duties
- Active Directory including group policy creation and administration
- Backup and restore with Symantec
- VMware support
Skills and experience required:
- Good knowledge of maintaining high availability, high volume Windows server environments
- Experience in supporting complex environments
- Virtualisation technologies
- Team foundation server
- Sharepoint technologies
- Trading technology knowledge such as exchange connectivity and trading applications
- Fluent German and English
