For our client, a world leader in the banking sector, Montreal Associates are urgently searching for a highly motivated and competentMS SQL/Sybase DBA (Contract, Bank, Zurich)
This is an English-speaking contract in Zurich. German speaking skills are a bonus.
The start date is ASAP, latest date on . This is a long term contract, initially starting as a 6 month contract with extensions.
For this position we are searching for candidates with strong Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase ASE background.
Strong skills in performance tuning (instance-tuning and recommendation in SQL-statement optimisation) are necessary for this position. Additionally, in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008 is necessary for this role. Knowledge of service delivery, project management and global projects is also desirable.
