For our banking client in Zürich, we are looking for a skilled Requirements Engineer in Zürich, Switzerland for 6 months +.
Main tasks:
-Production and sign-off of standard requirements engineering deliverables (Use Case Model, Use Cases, Business Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications, Project Requirements List) on time and with high quality
-Effort estimations and task planning for Requirements Engineering related project tasks
-Work with Trading Limit Systems which includes:
-Elicits, analyzes, documents and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within an application development project in the credits domain
-Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional specifications
-Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation
Must have skills:
-Work experience with Derivatives, FX and risk/exposure calculation
-SQL knowledge on Oracle 11g
-Master degree university level (preferably in IT or Banking)
-FRM certificate
-Min 6 years experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
-Fluent written and spoken English
-Strong communications and customer orientation skills
-Strong analytical problem solving skills
-Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different backgrounds
-Experience in banking or finance industry, ideally in international projects
-Excellent database skill or experience in data warehousing - experience in programming
-UML & XML knowledge/experience
-Subversion or CVS
-Motivation to contribute to process improvements in an interesting environment
